Christmas Batch Making Cards #01 Christmas Greetings

I know it is only July but I want to get in front this Christmas, no late night crafting for me, or having to nip to the shops to buy any last minute cards.

This year my plan is to start early and every two weeks make a batch of cards, starting with this little lovely! My aim is to make 100 cards before December 1st, so every two weeks I will be creating a batch card ideas and making 10 to meet this target, I hope you will find these ideas useful and hopefully inspire you to get Crafting for Christmas

To make 10 of these cards you will need the following card/paper:

  • 10 x 6 inch Kraft card base cards and envelopes

  • 2 A4 sheets of white card cut to measure 2 x 5.2 inches (Cut 10)

  • 2 A4 sheets of green card cut to measure 2.25 x 5.5 inches (Cut 10)

  • 2 A4 sheets of green to cut 10 x die cut shapes

  • 2 A4 sheets of Kraft card to cut 10x die cut shapes

  • 2 or 3 A4 sheets of white card to stamp the Poinsettia onto

And I've used the following stamps

I have also created a Step By Step of how it was made, I found it easier to create each piece i.e. the saying, die cut and Poinsettia, and then assemble, I will say though it's amazing the funny looks you get sat cutting out 10 Poinsettia's whilst the kids are having their swimming lessons!

And don't forget if you don't like looking at the screen whilst crafting you can always print out the step by steps by right clicking on the picture and selecting "save image as" the image can then be saved and printed at your leisure.

It really is that simple, I can't tell you how long they took as I did them in little chunks.

Now you will also notice I haven't added an insert or a stamp on the back to these as well I've had an idea, an idea that involves some help from a certain Mr Roo, so more news on that another day!

Thank you if you have made it this far and if you have a go at making this batch card idea we'd love to see your makes over in our Facebook group The Crafty Roo's.

Happy crafting, Kym x
