Who is ready for our next batch make for Christmas?
I have to admit I have never been this organised and it has me thinking of all the other little bits and pieces I want to get made this year.
Anyway back to today's Batch Make I knew I would be struggling for time this week as well its school holiday so my time to craft is limited and so I kept todays card simple, with limited steps and resources. I did my cards in red and white as I want to try and keep to traditional colours this year but this card would look fab in any colour scheme.
I will also admit as we are working in DL sizes and you get 3 mat layers per A4 sheet I actually made 12 cards for this make as I got carried away.
To make 12 of these cards you will need the following card/paper:
12 x A4 white sheets of card cut into - 1 DL base card (Cut 21 x 19 cm scored at 9.5cm on the short side) and 1 mat layer cut to 8.5 x 20cm
4 x A4 sheets of Coloured card cut to measure 9 x 20.5 cm (Cut 12)
And I've used the following stamps
Below is the step by step of how I created this card, it's super easy and in total it took me about 2 hours to create my 12 cards, but one top tip I will share is before you start stamping make sure your ribbon will fit between the words and the baubles..... I thought my ribbon was 1cm and when it came to constructing all the cards it was a little wider so made it a snug fit.
And don't forget if you don't like looking at the screen whilst crafting you can always print out the step by steps by right clicking on the picture and selecting "save image as" the image can then be saved and printed at your leisure.
And there you go cards 11 - 22 done these were so easy and quick to make, I've also been working on a little something for the backs of our cards to match our new stamp designs but more on that soon......
Happy crafting, Kym x
