Christmas Batch Making Cards #03 All In Blue

simple red and white dl card with stamped baubles
Easy batch make christmas card idea

Today's batch make is a tiddler of a card, I found a stash of 5 inch cards and they just cried out to be used, now if I was making these cards from scratch I probably wouldn't choose to make 5 inch square as they didn't appear to turn out very cost effective but as they were sat looking at me it was rude not to use them, right?

I also had to trim my poinsettia down a little so my card would stand....... took me a while to figure out why they weren't standing up!

To make 10 of these cards you will need the following card/paper:

  • 10 x 5 inch base cards OR 10 x A4 white sheets of card cut into - 1 5 inch base card (Cut 5 x 10 inch scored at 5 inch on the long side) and keep the scraps for the Poinsettia

  • 5 x A4 sheets of Coloured card cut to measure 4.75 inch square (Cut 10)

  • 5 x A4 Sheets of white care cut to measure 4.5 inch square (Cut 10)

And I've used the following stamps

And now it's time for the Step by Step, it's really simple I embossed my card first but you could do the inking first, just be sure your card is completely dry before adding your embossing powder otherwise you'll end up in a bit of a pickle!

And don't forget if you don't like looking at the screen whilst crafting you can always print out the step by steps by right clicking on the picture and selecting "save image as" the image can then be saved and printed at your leisure.

So that is cards 23- 32 done and ready to send, well apart from the inside but I have an idea for that too so watch this space.

And watch out Tuesday as these gorgeous Personalised stamps will be launch and I may even be doing a little offer on them too!

Happy crafting, Kym x
